Gamers Teach The Army

Posted by admin in Hardware

A lot of products that the gaming community have produced seem to have influenced the way the army does things. It would seem that the miliatry’s latest idea taken from the gaming world may have gone a bit to far as they have taken the game controller and started to impliment it into war.

The question to ask is that are there any real benefits to using this kind of technology in the army? The military have no need to now be sitting on a mounted position to control things which makes it a lot easier. Imagine controlling an RC car, this is now possible in the way the army can control recon planes. However all of this is starting to sound like that film with Robin Williams as a toy maker with his evil uncle using children to control military things from a far distance.

it is possible that a time may come where the army will not have to send troops in at all and just allow them to sit back and control all of these tanks and things from behind the lines? Of course not, the whole reason the army is a success is because of the skills, wits and training that all of these men and women have been given. This remote control technology is just another option open to many armies in battle and can be used to take a closer look at the enemy position without risking the lives of many men.

It is wondered how many deutsch connectors and multicore ties are actually needed to develop this brilliant technology. Is it really fair to put all of this guilt onto the game pad creators? The thing is, this kind of technology was never meant to be used in this way, the next thing they will use is motion sensing things that can control tank,it is being taken too far. Let us just hope that they used hellermann tyton to make sure everything is secure enough to work.
