Probably the most SMS-unfriendly model of the Doro lines, it is only able to receive texts but it can make very easy outgoing and incoming calls. It has large buttons that are widely-spaced from each other and can store three different numbers on its speed-dial. It still has doro audio and it is hearing aid compatible so it is perfect for most geriatric users.

3. Doro 345

With enlarged buttons, providing ease of use, anyone can send texts messages and make calls easily, unlike most modern mobile phones available in the market. The phone display is wide and therefore easy to read and it comes with advanced blue-tooth settings to allow wireless headset or neck loops to be used. It also comes with the significant doro audio feature plus the other standard phone features available such as flashlight, FM radio and more.

4. Doro Phone Easy 410

The most sophisticated of the Doro models, it has a clamshell high glossy design and easy to read monitor and large, well-spaced keypads. It comes complete with a Bluetooth feature for wireless devices and can send and receive SMS and picture messages.

They have worked hard on improving the responsiveness of the touch screen, a feature that a few people were critical of in the original Storm handset. You can expect to pick up a Motorola DEXT contract for less than £30.00 per month, which represents excellent value. If you are prepared to wait a little longer then Motorola Milestone deals will be available in 2010, offering more functionality and more importantly will run on Android’s new 2.0 version offering slicker map functionality and mobile web browsing. But Motorola aren’t the only one’s joining the party. Sony Ericsson are also announcing their own range of Android driven phones, with the first one being the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
